What is K9 Nose Work®? This wonderful sport was created by Julie's father Ron Gaunt along with his colleagues Amy Herot and Jill Marie O'Brien. Inspired by professional detection work, K9 Nose Work® is a fun search game that is safe and enriching for anyone. The beauty of K9 Nose Work® is that any dog can excel in this activity and all dogs love it.

We currently offer weekly classes in Concord NC. We also host weekend workshops and events.

Classes Offered

Intro to Nose Work

Open to anyone interested in having fun with and learning from their dogs. No prerequisites. A 6 week class that introduces the foundations of K9 Nose Work®️. Your dog will search for a special treat or toy and self reward.

Intro to Odor

Once your dog has mastered the foundational skills of nose work and you have mastered the art of reading your dog, we can add Birch, Anise and Clove odor to the search game. Also a 6 week class

Continuing Odor

A continuing 6 week class that introduces new challenges and levels of difficulty to your searches. You will learn to work efficiently as a team.
